Akins high school basketball

1. What did you like best about playing basketball for Akins Eagles?
Having the chance to play and make history, and to be the best team in school history.
2. What do you plan on doing after high school: do you play on playing for any colleges, if so where?
I do but not sure where I want to go yet.
3. What was your biggest challenge about playing basketball for Akins?
All the hard work you have to put in, and being dedicated.
4. What made you want to play basketball for Akins high school?
I love basketball; I’ve played my whole life.
5. Who is your favorite NBA basketball player?
Michael Jordan
6.Who is your favorite NBA basketball team?
Old school Michael Jordan
7. What inspired you to play basketball in the beginning?
The feeling I got when the basketball went throw the hoop.
8. Do you ever see yourself coaching a basketball team in the future, if so why?
Yes because I feel like I can teach the game.
9. Were you surprised that Akins made it to the playoffs for the first time in history?
No because we should have made it last year and I knew we could of played way better then what we did.
10. What makes coach Peavey such a good coach?
The knowledge he has for the game his dedication and discipline.
11. What’s different about this year’s boy’s basketball team compared to last year’s?
We have way more experience playing with each other.
12. Who do you consider the best basketball player other then yourself, who? And why?
I think we all are good at different things.
13. Has conflict between you and other teammate stopped you from playing a game?
Never.
14. Did you ever disagree with any of the other teammates if so why?
Yes just because we have different options and different views of things.
15. What was your favorite play in basketball?
LA.
16. How was balancing basketball and school?
It’s hard but it’s helpful because you have to keep your grades up to play basketball.
17. Did you ever want to give it up at one point, if so why?
No because I never questioned my desire to play.
18. Where do you see yourself in 5 years from now?
Playing basketball.
19. What high school was the most challenging to play?
High Tower because we played horrible and they couldn’t miss.
20. If you could would you take anything back, if so why?
No because I have no regrets.
